Is Homework Helpful or Harmful

           Each day, especially in the higher grades, students are assigned homework to complete and return to school for the teacher to grade. Homework is defined as tasks assigned to students by school teachers that are intended to be carried out during non school hours. Some students complain that homework is just a hassle and has no benefits, while others diligently do their homework in hopes of improving or maintaining grades. Even though homework can have some negative effects, it also has a positive impact on students. So, is homework good or bad for students? 

   
One of the main purposes of assigning homework is to help students retain what they have learned in school. While some students find the time to complete their homework during the school day, many others end up taking it home at night. Homework is meant to cover what the students learned in the class that day to help them retain it. Generally, homework can train students about honesty, equality, discipline, and increase knowledge and understanding of the material do. Besides that, it is important to establish good study habits at an early age. Working on homework after school helps students get into the habit of studying and helps each student develop a study pattern that works for him.
On the other hand, homework or commonly abbreviated PR often confuses students and students in the process finding the answer. Giving too much homework to students causes develop a sense of frustration and the stress of not being able to finish. It can be bad for psychology students. Homework often makes students hate school even subjects. Pessimism, fear, raises numerous acts of fraud, and a sense of inequity is the real impact of the resulting of giving homework. Besides that, Lots of other useful activities that can be done by students, but because the homework, students become obstructed or impeded to perform activities more. It just is not enough, many parents lament the impact of homework on their relationship with their children. They feel less interaction with his son because his son was busy doing homework

Homework does it have negative and positive impacts but students have to be wise in dealing with this issue. Habit Pro active very need in this case, when teacher give homework just throw away word “reactive“. But teacher should give good homework to avoid the negative impact, good homework is relatively little homework, cause equality, experimental or theoretical, as well as learning the appropriate member. Good homework can make students feel interested in learning materials and the level of understanding students will continue to increase.
